Predictive Effect of Self-Esteem on Happiness, Life-satisfaction and Hopelessness Level of Nurses

Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the effect self-esteem on level happiness, life satisfaction, and hopelessness nurses. Material Methods: This descriptive was carried out with 450 nurses working in 5 hospitals province Gaziantep. Data were collected by using Informed Consent Form Individual Information Form, as well Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (OHQ), Life Satisfaction Scale (LSS), Rosenberg Self-Esteem Inventory; (RSEI), Beck Hopelessness (BHS). Study data analyzed package program SPSS 24.0. Number percentage distribution, multiple regression analysis stepwise analysis, Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis tests used evaluation findings study. Results: mean total score nurses' LSS 21.99 ± 6.53, their BHS 5.40 4.62, OHQ 111.74 18.29, RSEI average 18.26 4.03. As a result it determined that factor predicts hopelessness.
